Supporting the Art Park with your fully tax deductible donation enables us to continue to serve our community through art exhibitions and educational programming while engaging in the preservation of our green space. Our events can bring over 1000 or more people to the Art Park on a given weekend.

Volunteer and Docent Program

Stone Quarry Hill Art Park is supported by a crucial core of volunteers who contribute a great deal of behind-the-scenes time and talent to the success of our not-for-profit organization. Volunteers staff the Park on weekends and for many special events. For information about how an individual or an organization can volunteer to be part of the Art Park team, please call the office.

Areas of need:

GIFT SHOP — Chairperson, Eve Lawniczak
Volunteers needed to open and close the shop, greet visitors, conduct sales, and inventory merchandise.

THE WINNER GALLERY and SPECIAL EVENTS — Chairperson and Volunteers, needed
Special gallery events require volunteers to prepare and install shows, greet visitors, direct parking, provide information about exhibit, promote membership and collect fees, set up and staff refreshment tables, play music and clean up after events. Assist with fundraising events (posting flyers, dropping brochures, email announcements, calendar postings, media relations), soliciting event sponsors.

THE OFFICE & MAIN HOUSE — Volunteers needed
Administrative support, bookkeeping, organizing & filing, database entry, grant writing and research, marketing, public/media relations, production of monthly newsletter, photography, advertising and website design and production.

GROUNDS — Chairperson and volunteers, needed
The Art Park is a very special place. Volunteers are always needed to help maintain the grounds including garden and trail maintenance: Help us maintain the Park’s 4 miles of marked trails.

BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES — Chairperson and volunteers, needed
Carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and general repairs are always needed to maintain the Art Park.
