The Artists In Residence Program officially began in 1991 with the incorporation of the Art Park. Since then 86 artists coming from twenty US states and eight foreign countries have participated. 85% of the outdoor art work on display at the Art Park was created by artists working in the Residence Program. In 2009, artists came from Maine, New York City, Central New York, Australia and a poet in residence came from Santa Fe, New Mexico.

If you are interested in applying for this program, download this application. A portfolio of information and visuals must be sent via parcel post or airmail. Email is not acceptable in this circumstance. All applications must include a processing fee of $35 US in a check made out to Stone Quarry Hill Art Park, Inc. or $38 through PayPal.

Artists may apply for two to four weeks in any month from April through September.
A free room and bath with cooking and clothes washing facilities in a communal four bedroom apartment, plus $100. US toward your expenses, will be provided.

• A SASE for notification

All applications will be answered, please allow up to 60 days after the deadline, No materials will be returned without a second SASE with the proper postage.
