Inspired by the relationship between art and nature, Stone Quarry Hill Art Park seeks to educate and engage the public through exhibitions, collection, interpretation, and community outreach programs in the arts. Set among 104 acres of conserved land and groomed trails, the Art Park is dedicated to providing a unique environment for the showcasing of art by emerging and established artists, in natural and gallery settings.

2015 Gateway Project

The Art Park is seeking inquiries from potential applicants for two Artist-in-Residence positions to work on the Entrance Station component of a comprehensive Gateway Project. Interested individuals and/or groups can apply for a stone wall residency OR sculptural figure residency. Artists will be responsible for the design, fabrication and installation of entrance-drive infrastructure that increases public visibility, better welcomes visitors, and reinforces the Art Park's role as a community-oriented art and nature venue. Residencies will be between 4-6 weeks in duration and run during the Art Park's 2015 summer season (April-November). Funding support for this project has been generously provided by The John Ben Snow Foundation. Funding awards will cover artists' fees and materials; any additional funding needed will be the responsibility of the artist. The Art Park can offer housing for those artists who wish to reside on site for the duration of the project.
